Meet the Founder

My name is Ayanna and I am the founder of When Grace Called Christian Blog. I love so many things from nature to food! But most importantly, I LOVE Jesus and people. As a result, I wholeheartedly believe in cultivating healthy hearts in those around me.

My path has been quite unique! I am an attorney, but my journey has been filled with a lot of twists and turns. The law has impacted my life in a major way and ultimately thrusted me directly towards the grace I so desperately needed. Hence, the name of this blog!

So here’s a glimpse into my story…

When Grace calledI was bound by perfectionism. After years of inner turmoil, God’s grace called me out of bondage and lifted me into freedom. Accepting His grace healed me.This grace was not a license to continue sinning, but rather it was an invitation to deeper relationship with the Father.

If you are looking for a quick fix for your life, I am not your girl. However, if you do not mind enduring process for lasting life change, I would love to walk with you. I do not have life figured out, but I am working on it by embracing the process God has set before me. As I learn, I am committed to sharing with you. Join me on the journey!

You belong here

I believe that you belong here, because His grace is calling you too.

His grace is available for every area of your life from your finances to your relationships and from your physical health to your spiritual health. I believe God’s grace covers EVERYTHING. So don’t be surprised if you find a little bit of everything here!

My prayer is that you walk away from this website with more vision and hope for YOUR life. I pray that God unveils His masterfully designed plan for you right before your eyes so that you will see yourself the way He sees you. A valuable son or daughter who is full of purpose.

Grace is calling, I hope you’ll respond.

But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
