Your Favorite Chicken Bake

See, I am doing a NEW thing!…

Isaiah 43:19 NIV

Spring has sprung and Summer is quickly approaching!

Spring and Summer have always signified newness and life to me. I truly believe God uses the seasons to show us what He does in the spirit. With all that being said, if God is doing a NEW thing, it’s time to rid of some OLD stuff (including that boring chicken recipe you’ve used forever). It’s time to try something NEW!

The recipe below will spice up your chicken in no time. To be honest, this recipe was the result of my boredom with chicken. So, I got in the kitchen and started playing around with flavors. This recipe is the final product! It takes what can be bland and dry and makes it sweet and savory. Plus, it’s a complete meal so there is no need to make additional sides (which is right up my alley).

Now let’s get started…

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Oil the baking dish with olive oil. Prepare the vegetables by washing, peeling, and slicing them. Toss the vegetables with seasonings. Make space for chicken breasts within the pan.

In a separate bowl, add a tablespoon of Dale’s seasoning, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and pepper. Mix the ingredients thoroughly. Rub the chicken with the seasoning mixture and place the chicken in the pan with the vegetables. Pour residual seasoning mixture over the vegetables.

Place butter slices on the chicken and vegetables. Bake at 400 degrees for 40-45 minutes.

Check vegetables to ensure they are fork-tender. Check the chicken to ensure it has been cooked throughout. Enjoy!

Big Hugs,
