Healthy Costco Haul 2021

I don’t know about you but I’ve been eating out wayyyy too much! If you have been following me on Instagram (@miss.ayannad), you know I’ve been trying to get my health under control and becoming more disciplined in my eating is a BIG part of that. Recently, I went to Costco to stock back up on healthy food! I love Costco because they have reasonably priced bulk items. In recent years, they began carrying an extensive amount of organic produce and meats. They even have Paleo and Keto friendly items. It’s awesome!

In this haul, you will see a lot of whole foods. If you’ve been following me for awhile you know I am not a big fan of strict recipes, but I’ve really been enjoying The Complete Anti-Inflammatory Diet for Beginners and The Blue Zones Kitchen. These cookbooks have helped me with ideas of foods I should and should not be eating.

Before we jump into the post, I realize that everyone does not have a Costco membership. No worries! Keep reading. Some of the products are available online and I have provided links to other places you can find the products.

What I Got:

The Essentials

When I go to Costco for healthy foods, I spend the majority of my time browsing the produce and cooler aisles. This helps me stay away from processed foods. On this trip, I purchased organic spinach, tomatoes, avocados, bell peppers, lemons, limes, various types of organic chicken, wild caught salmon, and organic eggs.

Kevin’s Korean BBQ Chicken

Kevin’s Natural Foods are the epitome of healthy. They do not use refined sugars. All of their products are gluten and soy free and their meat is raised without hormones or antibiotics. Their products are perfect for those following the Keto or Paleo diets. I love that Kevin’s chicken is real chicken not processed chicken “by-product”. When I’m on top of what I’m eating, I’ve used Kevin’s to easily meal prep on Sundays.

Kevin’s can be found in your local Costco, Whole Foods, and Publix. If you do not feel like going on the hunt, below I’ve linked a few products you can find online and have shipped directly to you!

Orgain Organic Superfoods

I am a HUGE fan of Orgain products because they use great ingredients and their flavors are not off-putting. Prior to my Costco haul, I was determined to find a superfoods powder to help me ensure that I was getting my daily dose of veggies. I had no idea Orgain even had a superfoods powder so when I saw it I snatched it up immediately. Y’all this plant-based product is so amazing! With one scoop, you get organic fruits and veggies, apple cider vinegar, super mushroom blend, 1 billion probiotics, and much more!

You get all of this and it still tastes good! Since adding this powder to my daily routine, I have seen a significant difference in my digestion.

Kirkland’s Organic Hummus

Kirkland’s Organic Hummus is my favorite! It has subtle flavoring and has ingredients that we can all read and recognize. It is perfect for dipping and has definitely added some needed razzle dazzle to my vegetables lol.

Personally, I love dipping fresh broccoli, carrots, cucumber, and/or tomatoes in my hummus.

Old World Naturals Antibiotic Free Oven-Roasted Pre-Sliced Turkey Breast

I love this Old World Naturals! Unlike most fresh cut deli meat, it does not expire quickly, but it still has that deli fresh taste and quality. Unfortunately, Costco is the only store that ships this brand nationwide. A good alternative to Old World Naturals is Applegate Antibiotic Free Turkey .
